As evidenced by the prior post, the Rookie is now among the world of the mobile, albeit clumsy and mobile. Since then, it's been full steam ahead. Crawling across the living room, the couch, the changing table, the crib, even the tub. You name it, he attempt to climb it. And failing that, he'll fall face down on it, hence leaving his "calling card" of drool and boogersnots, and crawl-on to the next obstacle.

The weaning days of the summer found Chase meeting more new friends, more aunts and uncles, and discovering noises and strengths he never knew he had before. He continues to amaze and charm his teachers with his energy and spirit, and has even created artwork (it's a turkey and he MEANT it to look like that). We celebrated Labor Day with family and friends, and the Rookie hung-in like a champ. He survived opening day of his first ever season of football (he has yet to decide on a team, thank you), and he loves to watch it with his mom and dad. Although, he seems very infatuated with the GREEN of the field...
We're looking forward to pumpkin-picking, more adventures, more laughs, and more discoveries. And, yes, we look forward to more chasing... Chase.
