In month #8, with the onset of Chase's new-found love for crawling and cruising, we find ourselves putting more and more furniture in the basement, and chasing the Rookie all over the place. His toys have taken-over 1/3rd of the living room, and he has drooled on every inch of carpet on the floor.
The adventures of Chase found him celebrating the change of seasons with a big smile the whole way. He continues to charm the pants off of every person he can, of course. In addition, he went pumpkin-picking with his Grammy and Grandpa (and Mommy and Daddy), which yielded exactly one pumpkin, two happy grandparents, and dozens of photographs.
He also experienced his first Halloween, and his first time out trick-or-treating. Chase went out with his cousins Ella and Sofia, his Aunt Becky (Uncle Kris hung back to give out candy),Mommy and Daddy, and Mum-mum and Pop-pop. Sofia went as Little Bo Peep, and her little sister Ella went as, well, her sheep. But when we went to peoples' doors, and explained who the girls were, the reaction was 
"And the Tiger?" "The tiger's here to eat the sheep." Everyone had a great time, even when the skies opened-up and drenched all of us.So as the official holiday season approaches, we look forward to more embarrassing outfits, more relatives spoiling the bejesus out of him, and more drool. Much more drool.
